Have you looked into Brake Therapy? They make floating caliper kits, and I was blown away with how much of a difference it made on my FR2000. Your rear suspension is the same design as mine, I'm sure they could make a kit for you... Would probably help that kickback feeling you talking about. Check em out... www.braketherapy.com.
